I’m on a 4Runner page and this question gets asked a lot… if you are forward facing they make slim car seats.. I have 3 kids and I’m in a minivan now.

We have a 4Runner and telluride and I had to get a rotating seat for my son bc it was so hard getting him buckled in the car seat in the 4Runner.

Have a 3rd kid on the way and my wife wanted another car to fit the 3yr old, 1 yr old and baby. She got the new pilot. I love my 5th gen 4runner tho

Idk how many have issues with the car seats fitting comfortably. I have two front facing seats in my 2 row 4Runner and there’s plenty of space still

I have one with a 3rd row. Definitely not ideal for car seats. Only 1 kiddo though. I wouldn’t trade the runner for any thing.

We had a friend that had one until they had two kids about to be 3 , even with the 3rd row they couldn’t make it work. They are gorgeous though

I drive a 4Runner as a mom car. One kid out of car seat and one kid in car seat. I can sit in the back behind my husband 6’3 with a ton of leg room. I’m 5’4 though.
