@pjandthomas: Growing up, we never thought we would see the day when we we’d be able to get married. Growing up, we never thought we would one day be able to be fathers and have a family together. Growing up, we never thought we’d one day fly a Pride flag on a bridge in Amsterdam, of all places. Growing up, we thought our lives would look a lot different than they do now, maybe a little quieter and with a lot less color. This is progress, and it’s been happening, slowly but surely. But with our community under more scrutiny lately than in recent memory, may we remember this progress and continue to celebrate how far we’ve come and how far we’ll go.
