@crazykoreancooking: We smoked mackerel with Weber Lumin Electric Grill. Honestly it was one of the best meals we’ve ever had. We can’t wait to smoke other fish with various wood chips! Here is what we did: Mackerel was gutted and halved. It should be fresh or completely thawed. 1. Preheat Lumin Electric Grill on highest heat with lid closed until it reaches 600°F (about 20-30 min). 2. Coat the cast iron grate with oil and place the fish skin side down. 3. Close the lid immediately and let it cook for about 5 min or until nice sear mark is formed. 4. Add apple wood chips (or your favorite wood) to the reservoir and place steam pan on top. 5. Coat the steam pan with oil and place the fish flesh side down. 6. Smoke with lid closed for about 15 min or golden. 7. Flip the fish, close the lid and smoke for 5 more min or until inside of the fish is cooked just enough. 8.
