@theparentingreframe: Kids’ fears can be connected to their mothers. They are looking to their mothers to see how safe or unsafe something is. As a parent use this to consider how you process your fears and how you can continue to grow. #parenting #kidsafraid #kidsfears #emotionregulationforkids #reparenting #reparentyourself #reparentingjourney
my daughter is 2.5 and recently started being afraid of everyone. kids coming up to her at the pool or park freaks her out, people looking at her at the grocery store. it's hard, I try to keep exposing her hoping she will grow out of it. I just want her to have some friends.

I recall research showing daughters take on the mother’s body insecurities even if the kid does not have the same anatomical concern

What if I’m a stepmom raising the kid? Does this still apply if it’s biological?

Very interesting. Seems like children are massively connected energetically to mothers. Wonder if that would transfer to dad if mom wasn’t around ever

Proud to say my kids are freakishly brave😂. I’m irrationally afraid of snakes, and they ARE NOT! It’s a miracle. Love the insight.
