Car in wrong but you could've turned your becons off to make indicators clear. Then anyone can see that you you were moving.

Okay, so maybe the lorry driver didn’t look properly but if you see a large vehicle manoeuvring, it’s always best just to give them space

The truck is in the wrong. at the end of the day the car has priority over the truck. On top of this the truck driver got out of his car first.
