We put together a 2-day itinerary with Tourism Hamilton that’s perfect for a gal pal getaway, couples getaway, mom and daughter getaway, or a solo trip. WHERE TO STAY: The High Acre - Located in charming Dundas, this unique accommodation has a private steam room and sauna in every room. There is a pool, hot tub, and outdoor garden to get your zen on. They also offer guests yoga every morning upon request. WHAT TO DO: Triple C Farm Sanctuary - Try goat yoga, go for a walk with an alpaca, snuggle baby goats, and see lots of other rescue animals living their best life. Go for a hike - our personal fave, the hike to Dundas Peak. What a view! Visit a waterfall - there are hundreds in Hamilton. Our personal faves, Tews Falls and Webster’s Falls Rock Garden - the birthplace of Royal Botanical Gardens, the Rock Garden is a tranquil space to walk, meditate, and read a book. We used to visit RBG with our grandparents growing up, making it a very nostalgic experience returning so many years later. Shop on James Street - there are so many locally owned boutiques. We visited some sustainable-focused shops, The Pale Blue Dot, The Reloved Boutique and Sari Knot Sari. WHERE TO EAT: Detour Cafe - for breakfast, coffee, lunch, and patio hangs Bread Bar - for dinner, they specialize in earth to table, farm fresh menu items Royal Botanical Gardens- eat in nature at the Rock Garden bistro (brunch, lunch, and dinner) What are your favourite spots in Hamilton?
