@madisonclysdale: On multi day hikes every ounce matters 😅 3 things I’m no longer bringing: 1. A collapsible camp chair. It only weighs 2 lbs but after hiking 30km, my back would rather carry less than be supported by a chair. Instead I bring a sit pad which is also handy at the door of your tent. 2. Disposable travel toothpaste, I switched to tablets, they can’t melt or freeze and they’re super light. 3. Band-aids. Instead I use leukotape, it’s stay on for multiple days and can get wet. It’s so good to prevent blisters. I only bring enough to wrap around my lighter a few times. I use a peice of tissue under the tape if it has to be treated first and is not just preventive on my heels.
