@cookinginthemidwest: #ad Chop Cheese Sandwiches on the Carbon Steel Griddle are a family favorite! @Made In #madeinpartner Recipe 2-4 TBSP of butter 1 onion, sliced 1 lb of ground beef made into 4 burger Patties Montreal Steak Seasoning (or any seasoning you like works) Shredded or sliced cheddar cheese Sandwich bread/hoagie rolls 1/4 cup Ketchup 1/2 cup Mayo 1 tsp each of garlic powder, smoked paprika, and onion powder Instructions -Mix together ketchup, mayo, garlic powder, paprika, and onion powder. Set aside. -Spread mayo or butter on bread and toast those on the griddle until golden brown. -Add 2 TBSP of butter and all the sliced onions to your griddle and let those start cooking -Season both sides of the burgers with steak seasoning and put those on the griddle -Smash burgers to help create a crust. -Cook burgers flipping halfway through. -Once burgers are cooked chop them up with a spatula and add cheddar cheese. -Build sandwiches by adding chopped beef/cheese mixture to bread, top with grilled onions, and the sauce.
