Mate …. You find out who your real friends are in recovery…. I speak to 3 people out of my old life …. But they are happy and respectful 🙏🏻

when i cut contact with some people. they tried labelling as me as the bad one and 'druggy' behind my back. when they did it themselves. that was hard

Same. My “best mate” since I was 15 kicked off at me for going bed early at Christmas and not staying up drinking. With a just turned 2 year old and a 8 month old. Glad I quit, showed the true colours

British socialising is all drink. Drink on a work do. Drink on a chilled Sunday. Drink on a stag do and wedding. For non drinkers it's a pain.

Had exactly the same thing when I stopped gambling.. people who I was “freinds” with soon disappeared. very few stuck around, I’m fine with that 👍
