@emmafituk_: “Whale” “Fat girl” “No one would care if you killed yourself” “You’re embarrassing” “Why is she wearing that” “You should just kill yourself you whale” These are all things that have been said to me in person, behind my back, online, things people have told me that have been said about me... When I was overweight - I was bullied in school and online… and I used to receive death threats and comments online that I might as well kill myself. It honestly breaks my heart to think back to this time in my life because I felt trapped in a little shell and embarrassed to even leave my house. I let these comments eat away at my self worth + my self esteem and I genuinely hated myself because of the mean things other people said to me I’m SO proud of myself for being strong enough to not let these comments completely break me. I’m proud that I managed to redirect this hate and use it as fuel to become the best version of myself. I’m proud of the person I’ve become today because I could’ve so easily gone down a completely different path😣 👉🏼Before you comment/ judge/ be mean about someone else’s body, their appearance, someone else’s WORTH, or even their food choices, physique goals, size, macro split, behaviours, life choices..... JUST DON’T!!! DON’T BE A BULLY. Don’t make somebody feel like that because I’ve been there and it’s got to be one of the most hurtful and destructive things you can go through. And for anyone else out there who has been subject to this - please know that you are WORTH SO MUCH MORE! And if you are genuinely not happy in yourself, then you have everything in your power to change that, transform yourself and step into a happier, more confident and EMPOWERED version of you!!!
