@waterdragonangi: I’m gonna brag on myself. I am strong, not just for a woman, but in general. I have a physical strength that is above average. Want to know what humbles me real quick? Body Weight Movements In case you hadn’t noticed, ya girl has a lot of body that needs moving. And yes, each jiggle and wave is something that needs to be stabilized and balanced. For visualization, take you, and now add water that moves and sloshes around to your arms and legs. Now move. It’s NOT easy. That being said, I refuse to let this challenge stop me from mastering my body and her movements. I have been working on side kick throughs quietly. First getting my left shoulder in a place to support the movement and then practicing reduced ranges of motion. In private. Why? Goes back to that fear of being seen thing. But lately I’ve been making this part of my warm ups. And this is where I am at currently with my side kick through. Not perfect, but stable and strong. And THAT’S what’s important.
