@matts_wax: The White Stripes - Greatest Hits (2021) The Stripes have always been one of my favourites, but over the last year or so I’ve REALLY dug deep into their catalogue. I just can’t get enough! Jack White is an interesting character and he’s largely responsible for bringing that lo-fi garage rock sound to the mainstream in the late 90s & early 2000s. I love how all their tunes keep that raw, live off the floor sound. Not overly tweaked and polished like most of the “radio rock” you hear these days. The stripes are a perfect blend of rock & blues.
