@thisbrownmom: The easiest, no fuss chicken chow mein. I’ve been making this dish since the first time I tasted chicken chow mein. It slaps… every time! my family and friends love me for it 😍 I hope you give it a try and love me too, I mean “it” . I hope you love it too!😜 I didn’t manage to make a full reel. This was a quick meal for my kiddos. I will try and do a full reel soon 🌻 It’s the weekend, baby! 125g egg noodles or noodles vegetables (julienned); I used 1 onion, 2 carrots, 1 cup cabbage, and 2 green chillies cut into strips 3 tbsp peanut or vegetable oil 2 tbsp thick soy sauce @staffordssa 2 tbsp thin soy sauce #hastytasty 2 cloves garlic, sliced into thin strips A thumb sized piece of ginger, sliced into thin strips salt & pepper to taste 2 spring onions (chopped) 2 chicken breasts (cut into strips) - marinate with 1 tbsp cornflour, tbsp thick soy sauce, 1 tbsp thin soy sauce and salt and pepper to taste. Cook the noodles according to package instructions. Heat oil on high heat in a wok or large pan. Fry the chicken until it’s done, for about 3-4 minutes and set aside. The chicken may stick to the pan, so swirl it around in the oil before it starts to fry In the same wok or pan add the vegetables and stir fry an additional for 3-4 minutes. Then add the chicken and noodles back to the wok and add the soy sauces. Stir-fry for another minute, garnish with spring onion. Enjoy #chickenchowmein
