It makes sense. My husband and I have separate insurance. I would have to use my insurance. My husband insurance would not cover me.

Not my experience. The surrogate’s health insurance covers this. The surrogacy firm will investigate her insurance and will switch coverage if needed

Yeah, because in all of your examples, the insured are the one’s pregnant. Since neither of you can get pregnant, why would the insurance cover it?
