![I don’t know if anyone will read this, but.. Exactly one year ago, day for day, on august 1st, 2025, i fell in love with Joel Gear. Today is my anniversary with him! I already knew Joel from a few spoilers i’d seen earlier during the year, as well as in the supernova opening, but i discovered his personality while watching the anime. At first i thought he was adorably stupid. I thought it’d be cute if i shipped him with Maruu, my oc (that i had originally shipped with Ryusui..) but during the rest of the day i noticed i couldn’t stop thinking about him. That’s when i realized i was falling in love with him, and so i decided to start officially yumeshipping with him. At that time, Joel wasn’t popular at all, and unfortunately he had very little attention before episode 21. Personally, i adored him from the very start. I’m glad to see that he got a lot recognition when episode 21 released. During this amazing year, i’ve also had the chance of meeting a few people who love Joel as much as i do. I even made mutuals with people who don’t speak English, and who speak other languages i cant speak either🥹 (SV and Miller, if you are reading this, I’m talking about you two!) i think it’s beautiful how our love for Joel made us bond despite the language barrier. On top of that, sharing my love for Joel allowed me to meet one of my best friends, @₊✧💎𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐚𝐡 [𝐒𝐚𝐥]⌚️✧₊ (sorry for the tag twin :’3), who is the sweetest person ever.
