The first series sounded ok until you daid there is a romance element to it. Overall I think I'll avoid her books as i abhor romance stories.

Could go on for hours about her series! I have about 150 or so of her books. If you like these two, more easy recommendations (all romance obvs) Cousins O'Dwyer series, Three Sisters Island Trilogy, Key Trilogy, The Donavan Legacy, and the Guardians Trilogy. A lot of it is witchcraft based. She is one of the easiest authors to read, I love her books in general.
