puddle jumpers are Coast Guard Approved. I would never use them on the kayaks, but good for beach fun where floaties are not allowed.Arms length.

I love puddle jumpers but the Speedo ones with straps for a tighter fit. Both of my boys used them and were swimming at 3. I’m always right with them

I put my daughter in swim lessons at 18 mo for 2yrs, she's 7 now & a better swimmer than me lol we'll be putting our other daughter in soon as well.

You can use them, you just have to be within arms reach and swimming with your child. You child can not be left alone in it.
