@rach_around_the_world: Day 1: Shinjuku itinerary 🇯🇵 1. Tokyo metropolitan government building: Free 360 views of Tokyo, great alternative to Shibuya Sky (opening hours 08:30-17:00) 2. Yoyogi park & Meiji Jingu shrine: Both free, one of the most famous shrines in Japan 3. Harajuku: Great area for shopping and food. Crepe is from Santa Monica and cheese coin from a stall on Takeshita street 4. Don Quijote: Famous discount Japanese shop, open 24 hours in Shinjuku 5. Omoide Yokocho: Famous street for food in Shinjuku, really quaint alleyway and lots of restaurant options available but can be busy as most only sit max 6 people 6. Standing sushi bar: Uogashi Nihon-Ichi. No reservations, just queue outside. We waited around 30 minutes 7.
