if you put a damp paper towel or cloth or something on the cutting board, the chemicals released when cutting an onion will go there instead of eyes

There is a way to cut onions and never tear up. No covering of the eyes either. Once I started doing this method, I’ve never had an issue.

if you put a (clean) wet paper towel or cloth directly beside where you are chopping and you'll never cry again. 🧅
