@kktall: Life went a bit south for me last November. But I refused to give up… I’ve had multiple 3-4 hour operations on my legs since last year’s diagnosis of popliteal artery entrapment syndrome and compartment syndrome. I’ve spent months learning how to walk again after having parts of my legs removed. A fair few doctors told me this condition would be career ending for me. Especially when the first operations in December didn’t work. By February, I was unable to walk even 100m and my lower legs had less than 25% of normal blood flow at rest. Despite the odds stacked against me, I refused to give up. Every day is a day closer to racing again if you ask me. #injuryrecovery #prorunner #carrytheboats #poplitealarteryentrapment
