@barilla: This recipe by @mybigfathalalblog is not only easy to make, it's packed with flavour! It's not common in Italian cuisine, but it definitely is delicious so sometimes the rules can be broken. Ingredients: 300 g Barilla Tortiglioni 250 g chicken breast, cut in small pieces knob of butter oil (enough to cover base of pan) 1 small onion, chopped 1/2 red pepper, chopped 4 cloves garlic, minced 1 tsp paprika 1 tsp cajun spice 1 tsp salt 1/2 tsp ground black pepper 1 tsp chilli flakes For the sauce: 250 passata tomato puree 225 ml pasta water 1 tsp salt 1/2 tsp ground black pepper 1/2 tsp chilli flakes 1 tsp mixed herbs 225 ml double cream Method: 1. Cook the Tortiglioni according to the instructions on the packaging and save some of the pasta water. 2. Heat the butter and oil on medium heat and then fry the onions until golden. 3. Add some pepper and garlic to the onions for extra flavour. 4. Add the chicken and all the spices. 5. Add the passata tomato puree and extra pasta water and allow to cook for an additional 5 minutes and then lower the heat. 6. Add double cream and the cooked pasta and stir. 7. Serve and enjoy!
