my limit is 1,500. my due date is the 2nd and my closing is the 6th. So I should pay it off the 2nd and then spend 15$ and leave that till the 6th?

Wait I thought we wanted our balance to be $0.00 on the statement closing date so they report I have a 0 balance to credit bureaus

If you leave 1% for the closing, will you be paying interest for that 1% on the next payment due date?

So pay in full on due date? I understand. But how do you have money left for statement date? Does that mean to buy like a pack of gum after due date?

When does 1% mean more than have a zero balance? Don’t the credit bureaus see you’re making payments and paying your debt off all the time

my limit is $15,500 but i’m paying all my debt in full by the the statement closing date so my util. is at 0, does this build my credit at all or?

I’m confused how are we keeping the 1% on the statement date but you’re telling us to pay in full on the due date. The due date always comes first

Pay twice in a month if you have high balances that you can’t afford! It won’t hurt. But it’s best to pay in full

Ok so my due date is the 6th and the closing date is the 9th. Should I pay off all my balance the 6th or the 9th? Or wait until the 9th and mini on 6

Alright so basically The “Statement balance” is the day your bank checks to see your credit card status.

USING the account is better than just cutting the card and never using it.

Oh so you’re fine if there’s little money on the closing statement date bc I paid it off in full before the due date but I still have that statement balance even though it’s zero if that makes sense; idk this stuff should be basic but
