Here are the top erasers, ranked by their ability to erase cleanly and the amount of residue they leave behind. We had several members test 14 different erasers and two sand erasers to find the best one. First, the SEED Gold Eraser didn't impress. It didn't erase well and left a lot of residue. However, it does look cool to carry around. The Zigzag eraser also underperformed, but given its unique design for a specific purpose, this was expected. The Kadokeshi was similar to the Zigzag but performed slightly better in terms of residue. The Mazikeshi erased well but left quite a bit of residue, although the attached magnet can pick it up. The Resare performed like the Mazikeshi, while the Clear Radar did better with residue but was slightly worse in erasability. The Arch did well in erasability, and the SEED Radar was good at minimizing residue. The Mono Dust Catch, a pre-test favorite, fell slightly short compared to the upcoming erasers. The Mt. Fuji eraser, which turns into Mt. Fuji, erased very well, and the Mono Tough showed slightly better residue performance. Before we reveal the top 3 erasers, here's what we found with the sand erasers for pen ink. Between the Radic 512 and the SEED 512, the SEED 512 performed better, mainly due to its erasability. Now, for the rankings: in third place came the popular Mono eraser, second was the Mono Non-Dust, and finally, the best-performing eraser was the Matomarukun. It excels at leaving the least residue and erases incredibly well.
