I got a CVT on my '09 nissan murano, with 267,000 miles & haven't had one problem with my transmission. I keep my fluid changed.

My wife wanted to get a car with CVT. I said hell nooooooooo. But it drives sooooo smooth she said. I said CVT needs rebuilt every 18 months😳

my Subaru has one 2k miles past the warranty the CVT broke. $9k to replace. The car is now junk

Belt based CVTs are a terrible automotive transmission design. They cannot handle torque and wear out quickly.
