Looks like a structural problem. I'd take it back and make them peel the roof off and fix it. Shouldn't have stuff poking out like that.

Should probably deal with manufacturer before putting anything on the roof could void the warranty then make sure what you put on it is compatible

Don't put any sealant on it and take it back to the dealer. Take lots of pics. Contact manufacturer if dealer refuses to do anything

RV shop foreman here and you are absolutely correct. Most travel trailers and motorhomes are terrible straight from the factory.
