Looks very similar the gambrel roof on my barn. Mines solid 🤷 if you are experiencing racking, I recommend spray foam

Maybe not clear on but the rafters seems to be not sitting on ridge beam. 2. The light is passing through sheathing, not blocked shearwall ?
