Rasta Pasta!! One of my all-time favourite comfort dishes! Simple, easy, and delicious. The sautéed veggies and garlic cook down in a cream and milk-based sauce. The creaminess of these @OntarioDairy staple ingredients makes this recipe so comforting. To finish it off I add scallions, jerk paste, and local parmesan cheese to really take it to the next level. Try it for yourself, it’s a #gamechanger Check out the recipe ⬇️⬇️⬇️ Recipe: Ingredients: 2 cups Ontario Cream 2 cups Ontario Milk 1/2 cup sliced Green bell pepper 1/2 cup sliced Red bell pepper 1/2 cup sliced Yellow bell pepper 1 cup Ontario Parmesan cheese 2-3 cloves Garlic 1/2 cup sliced White Onion 1 bunch chopped Scallions 400g Fettuccine pasta 3 tablespoons Jerk paste 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts 2 teaspoons of all-purpose seasoning 1 tablespoon Green seasoning 1 teaspoon Salt 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper 1 tablespoon Olive oil Method: 1. Preheat your oven to 375f. 2. In a large bowl, add both chicken breasts and marinate with Jerk paste, all-purpose seasoning, green seasoning, and 1 tablespoon of oil. Mix well and allow to marinate for at least one hour. 3. In a large stainless steel pan, sear your chicken heavily on one side then put it in the oven on a parchment-lined tray to finish cooking. Approximately 8-10 minutes. 4. In a large pan on medium heat, sauté your sliced bell peppers, garlic, and onions. 5. Turn the heat down, add your local cream and milk, and allow that to come to a simmer. 6. Add your jerk paste scallions and parmesan cheese and remove pan from heat. Stir well to ensure everything is combined. 7. Add your cooked fettuccine to the sauce and toss well. (For best results follow package instructions for cook time) Be sure to season your water well with salt before cooking pasta. Plating: 1. Once cooked remove chicken breasts from oven and allow to rest for 5 minutes. Once rested slice your chicken and add it directly to the pasta. 2. Toss again to ensure the chicken has been fully incorporated and serve. 3. Finish with more cheese and enjoy! #InspiredByDairy #Ad #Pasta #RastaPasta #FettuccinePasta #ComfortMeal #TorontoChef @Ontario Dairy
