@jambodragonmeditation: If you or someone you know has lower back pain while doing back bends - give the lower back lengthening a go! During the class I was talking about pressing the sacrum towards the legs but to actually have your fist on the lumbar spine and traction the sacrum down towards the legs. This helps to create space in the lower back which eases compression and frees up deep breathing.
