@riverroadah97: What is Stenotic Nares? Stenotic nares is very common in brachycephlic breeds like french bulldogs, or pugs (etc.) and its when they have a small nasal opening. We preform a surgery to create a bigger opening and help them breathe. This can be crucial in moments of stress, excitement or when the temperature is hot. If nares swell, your pet won’t be able to breathe out of their nose very well or at all in some cases. Getting stenotic nare surgery on your brachcephalic breed can improve breathing quality and life quality!
