Sourdough Discard Protein Granola Bars   •200 g oats •1 heaping Tbsp each of: Chia Seeds, Flax Seeds, Pumpkin Seeds, Hemp Seeds •45 g of protein powder (I like using @Gainful Health unflavored and adding a flavor packet) • 1 tsp cinnamon • 1 tsp salt • 1 tsp vanilla • 60 g almond butter • 85 g honey • 120 g sourdough discard (I like to do about 3-4 days after feeding) • 1/4 c chopped pecans • 1/4 c chocolate chips   Instructions: 1) Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and line a half baking sheet (Loving that my 10x15 @Sur La Table works great for this) 2) Mix the seed mixture, protein powder, flavor packet (if using), cinnamon, and salt together in a bowl. 3) In a separate bowl, mix together the vanilla, almond butter, honey, and discard together. 4) Combine both the dry and wet ingredients (I have found that your hands are the best mixing tool!) 5) Pour the mixture onto your lined baking sheet. 6) Wet your hands with cold water and press down and shape the mixture to be about 1/2 inch thick and a rectangle (it won’t be perfect, that’s ok!) 7) Bake for 10 minutes until edges start to brown. 8) Let cool completely and then slice with a bench scrapper.   **Store in the fridge for up to a week, or in an airtight container for up to 5 days! **(I love to use my 1/2 gallon @Stasher and they all fit perfectly :)   #sourdoughdiscard #sourdough #baking #granolabars #discardrecipes #proteinbarrecipe #protienbar #proteingranolabar #sourdoughdiscardrecipes #sourdoughgranola #sourdoughgraloabars #BakeWithMe #bakefromscratch #baking #healthybaking #homemade #fyp
