@untoldmysteries: Cameron (17) and Christopher (22) Ervin drugged, st*bbed, and be@t their parents until the police arrived at their Gwinnett County home. On September 5th, 2015 the two brothers made their parents Yvonne and Zachary Ervin (51) X@nax-laced cocktails and waited. They first tried lighting candles, and filling the house up with gas in an attempt to burn the house down. When their plan failed, they returned inside, then began to str@ngle and be@t their parents. The attack happened in the garage, and throughout the kitchen. Yvonne was able to call 911, while her husband was distracting the boys and fighting for their lives. Gwinnett County Police arrived shortly after and arrested the brothers. Yvonne and Zachary were transported to the hospital, and survived from their injuries. When Cameron and Christopher were brought into custody they initially tried to deny the crimes. The two later confessed, admitting their estranged relationship with their parents, and struggles with drug abuse.They were both arrested and plead guilty to 13 charges including kidnapping, aggravated assault, and armed robbery. At their sentencing both Yvonne and Zachary pleaded with the judge to show their sons mercy. The parents expressed their forgiveness, and referred to the incident as “One bad moment.” The judge sentenced them to 50 years in prison, with 20 years to serve, and 30 years probation.
