After chemo my once straight hair was super curly. Then I decided to shave my head and the my hair grew back straight with a little bit of wave.

My husband's pretty much stayed the same, maybe a little curlier. He had a donor for his 2nd bone marrow transplant and now has his donor's blood type

its not necessarily your folicle, its how the proteins in your hair are distributed, the more proteins to one specific side the curlier the hair

Finished chemo in January, all of my hair had fallen out. My once stick straight hair is now growing back wavy. Love it!
