You don’t have to wear Indian clothes to the temple. Just need to dress somewhat modestly, even then no strict rules

im Muslim and when we go to a Mousque we also take off our shoes! the Mousque i go to is a Mousque made by south asians so we also have desi furniture

my family isnt hindu (we are indian) but we still go to the temple sometimes. i love how it feels so calm and peaceful and the temples are so gorgeous

I'm pretty sure the priests do prayers at specific times if you go at those specific times I guess it's kind of "directed"???
