The hsg is so so different for everyone. I felt, nothing with a blocked tube. And some others feel excruciating pain with no blockages.

Got mine done last month and ended up getting pregnant the same cycle. It was just crampy but the cramps were in my butthole for some reason? Lol

I was so nervous for my HSG. It felt like really really bad cramps but only lasted for 23 seconds. I did have my fertility clinic prescribe Valium.

I took 600 mg of ibuprofen and it was so painful for me, I had to stop the doctor and didn’t complete the entire procedure 🥺 my tip is to take 800 mg

I had an HSG a year ago and honestly not bad at all. Crampy for sure, but nothing a little ibuprofen couldn’t take care of! Good luck!!

Out of all my friends I was the only one that had a painful experience lol so it’s very hit or miss, my advice is load up on Tylenol !

HSG is veryyy mixed. A lot of people have soo much pain and then others have just slight cramping. Luckily, I was one with just slight cramping.
