@travelinthoms: Hitching the 5th Wheel in 8 Simple Steps: 1. Drop the tailgate and place wheel chocks behind the trailer tires. 2. Set kingpin height to align with the Companion hitch’s coupler. 3. Unlock the jaws/open the arm on the hitch. 4. Once lined up, slowly back the tow vehicle and connect the 5th wheel to the hitch. 5. Once the jaws are closed, secure the arm with the safety pin, locking the jaws shut. 6. Attach the 7-way and breakaway cables. 7. Perform a Pull Test. 8. Remove the wheel chocks, raise the landing gear and tailgate, and travel safely!
