@cbcnews: A former student has been charged after three people were stabbed Wednesday in a University of Waterloo gender studies class. Mark Crowell, chief of the Waterloo Regional Police Service, said the class was targeted because of its subject matter, and related to gender expression and gender identity. The class had 40 students. The attack sent a professor and two students to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Geovanny Villalba-Aleman, 24, has been charged with three counts of aggravated assault, four counts of assault with a weapon, two counts of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and mischief under $5,000. #Waterloo #Ontario #CBCNews
