@asourstory: Word. 😌 There is a recipe for a sourdough starter like this pinned in my feed, but here’s a simple one: Do everything the same time each day. Move to two feeds a day after a week if you keep it outside. Find a place around 24-28°C to have it get active quick. If its not doubling to tripling after a week keep repeating day 4/5 and find a warmer spot. Use a 500ml jar or container with a lid that does not close airtight. Put it on top loosely if you only have an airtight one. Day 1 Mix 20g bread flour and 20g of water Day 2 Add 20g each and mix well Day 3 Add 40g each and mix well Day 4 Keep 20g and add 20g each Day 5 Keep 20g and add 20g each Day 6 Keep 40g and add 80g each On day 7 you should have 200g of bubbly starter, enough to make 2 loaves, keep 20g and feed it with 40g each and put in the fridge after a few hours to use it later or keep it outside and feed daily. - - - #sourdough #starter #levain #oddlysatisfying #fermentation #madre #foryou
