Queen Bee-lzebub Redesign! I have complicated feelings about the original design. She's definitely fun and pretty and the honey hair is gorgeous, I also like that she was made an alcoholic party girl rather than a plus size character since plus size people aren't all gluttonous, though the media tries to convince you they are (it's because of slavery but there are better writers who can explain that). But at the same time, her design is really cluttered. It looks good in the Cotton Candy sequence which is basically a music video, but not really anywhere else. There are too many contrasting colours and every element is fighting to be your main focus. I also feel like making her a fox/wolf creature wasn't a good move because I feel like the Princes are supposed to be otherworldly and impressive, but she just looked like a standard wolf girl that could take off her makeup and accessories and blend in with the crowd. Even in her huge form she shows for a couple seconds just looks like a larger furry. As a character, I feel like her being an ok person doesn't line up with her being a demonic princess. Let her appear nice and friendly but then let Loona realise how the other lower class demons have grown dependent on her. And at the end of the day she's the one who benefits, not them. She's appealing but vile, just like alcohol. Let her encourage Blitz to keep drinking, perhaps purposefully failing the chug-off so her want more. Let her be manipulative god damnit! So I tried to design her with these things in mind. She's pretty and alluring but dangerous. A literal bee now, and with a more limited colour palette and clear focus.
