@taleemalsadiq: "Tala al-Badru 'Alayna" is a traditional Islamic nasheed (Islamic song) that is associated with the arrival of Prophet Muhammad in Medina. It is one of the most well-known and beloved nasheeds in the Muslim world. The nasheed is sung in praise and celebration of the Prophet Muhammad's arrival in Medina after the Hijrah (migration) from Mecca. The lyrics of "Tala al-Badru 'Alayna" express the joy and happiness of the people of Medina upon seeing the Prophet, likening his arrival to the rising of the full moon on a dark night. The title of the nasheed, "Tala al-Badru 'Alayna," translates to "The Full Moon Has Risen upon Us." It refers to the belief that the Prophet Muhammad's arrival brought light, guidance, and blessings to the people of Medina. The nasheed is often recited or sung during Islamic gatherings, weddings, and other joyous occasions as a way to express love and reverence for the Prophet Muhammad. It holds a special place in the hearts of Muslims and serves as a reminder of the early history of Islam and the Prophet's migration to Medina. . . . Follow @taleemalsadiq for more 🤍 . . . . .
