crocs actually have designs that would pack down a bit better than the normal clogs! they have all types of designs now, you can get sandals~

I love crocs for camp shoes and water crossings! My Baseweight is 8.5 lbs even with the crocs. You can make it work!

There are plastic Birkenstocks now, they are comfortable and light. Good alternative to Crocs

I think you forgot the 1/3 combo. Cheap Dollar Store / WalMart shoes that are VERY SIMILAR to Crocs at a tenth of the price i.e. Croc Offs. 😁

I recently sectioned hiked 50+ miles of the AT and did a portion of it wearing my teva sandals. Small, light, and durable.

I’ve never done a through hike on the AT but as someone who hikes portions of it, y’all gonna like having shoes you can go to the bathroom at night in with no poison ivy on the bottom of your feet 😂

Yes crocs!!! Light your toes are protected which prevents toe stubs or cuts and make great river crossers
