@lynsey_queenofclean: Satisfying fan clean The most effective way to clean the stubborn dust out from your fan is to use a recycled make up or paint brush. A hair dryer blast or the vacuum nozzle just doesn’t cut it when the dust is thick and clung onto the grates and blades. When cleaning the blades you don’t want to bend them so the brush is perfect for pushing away the dust and won’t cause any damage. Wash the grill over the sink with a sponge. Ensure your fan is not plugged in when cleaning the blades and do NOT get the motor wet. Once clean and dry reassemble and enjoy your nice clean fan. PS - I did try the viral bag trick and this does not work!
