Whitworth was the sniper rifle of artillery. it had a 12lb "bolt" and was used more for anti-artillery than horse artillery.

first gun is a Confederate Napoleon, the second is a Whitworth Rifle. both are 12lb guns, one smooth bore, one Rifled. both transported the same way
