Some days it honestly feels impossible to keep it all together. The housework the washing, the cooking, the cleaning, the never ending list that never seems to slow down….that’s before you even think about giving time to your kids, or finding five minutes just for yourself. I’ve been on both sides, being a stay at home mum with four kids, and now working full time as a content creator with now only one teenager child at home…..do you know what? Neither is easier than the other. Being a stay at home mum is honestly the hardest full-m time job in the world, that no salary could ever cover. But working and then trying to run a home is just as tough in its own way. It doesn’t matter what your title is being a parent means you’re always on the go, always giving. Looking back, I never gave myself time. Everything was about the kids and the house. If I ever did anything, it was always with them. Now I live differently. I make sure I give myself that space, because we deserve it. We can’t pour from an empty cup back the I didn’t know that or see that. So this is for my mums especially….please give yourself grace, because you matter too. So much respect to every mum, every dad, every single parent out there just trying to keep the balance. It’s not easy, but it’s love that makes it all worth it. And if your house feels chaotic you’re not alone, mine does too but with a lot more empathy, compassion, kindness, giggles and love and you all deserve that too! 💫🫶🏼✨ How do you make time for yourself when life feels non-stop?
