I lived in SF for 7 years in the same apartment and knew all my neighbors. Everyone was friendly. I think it depends on the neighborhood.

I live in Cole Valley and know all my neighbors. All so friendly. We have block parties and help each other out. I agree- depends on the neighborhood.

I wish this was everyone’s experience. I went to see a property upstate and the realtor himself was racist/hostile. I loved the house
