@beastie_n_me: 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸Remember that lil Northern California town that burned down in 2018? We lost 85 people and more than 18,000 structures. As a tribute to our veterans and armed forces, 11 different organizations throughout the Paradise Ridge donate their time to put 1,100 flags along Skyway and Elliot Road. It is a beautiful and patriotic sight. Three times a year, Memorial Day, Veteran's Day, and the 4th of July. This is the Paradise parade of flags from the 4th of July, 2023. Our fire happened on November 8, 2018, on November 11(Veterans Day), just 3 days later, the flags we had left were up. Its things like this that make me so proud to call this home. You can still see some empty lots and charred trees..but we’re comin back, just like the flags. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸💚💛 #paradise #paradeofflags #paradisestrong
