The background of white cliffs , magnificent limestone andluscious greenery at Fteri Beach, creates an idyllic setting to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. At a short distance from the shore, there is a high cliff from which the most daring can make impressive dives into the turquoise waters. Many people believe that Fteri is the most beautiful beach of Kefalonia. The beach retains its natural beauty as there is no road access to it. You can reach it by walking along a mountain path on foot that leads to the beach. The hike to the beach takes approximately 40 minutes. You have to follow the green and red dots that are on the rocks at @outdoor_kefalonia_activities . The path is suitable for inexperienced hikers but has steep slopes, and you should have sturdy shoes. The route down to the beach is relatively easy, but the way back is climbing, and it takes a little bit more due to the rocky terrain. It's much easier to take a taxi boat from Agia Kyriaki that in 10 minutes allows you to reach this wonderful bay.
