@peachviz: the review is: an unnamed artist travels through a mirror to another dimension. He is put through crazy scenarios in four episodes. Told through satire and surrealism, the artist must deal with his obsession of fame and death. Cocteau has a classical aesthetic that blends Baroque and Surrealism. These are two things i have applied to my own body of work. His technique with the camera is not only revolutionary, but his choice to give the audience their own interpretation with his symbolism. I feel like if you are a visual artist of any medium, you could benefit from watching this. Me, personally, im already planning out a photoshoot inspired by this movie. This is my intro to his body of work and ive been meaning to do it for a while. The Blood of a Poet is apart of a trilogy.
