@shilohstudio43: I have received so many questions about how I make my paste for textured art. So I thought I’d post a reel with a little more detailed instructions for you all. I use all purpose joint compound from my local hardware store, I purchase a 3.5 quart that’s about $12. I add in white acrylic paint or interior paint to give it a creamier consistency. I also add in modeling paste, this isn’t required but I love the consistency this gives my paste. I then use a drill with a mixing paddle attachment to mix everything together very well. The drill and mixing paddle attachment are also from my local hardware store. Once you’re done mixing put the lid back on securely to keep it sealed until time for use. I don’t have exact measurements, I just eyeball it until I reach the consistency I prefer. As always, comment or DM me if you have any questions or need help with the process! I hope this helps! . . . . . . . #artidea #canvasidea #acrylicpaint #art #abstractart #fyp #foryou #painting #artist #texturedart art painting textured art artist
