There is a High Speed rail being built in Texas between Dallas & Houston. It should be ready by 2026. It will make travel 90 minutes.

It costs my wife and I and our dog $200 to go to Portland from Seattle on Amtrak. It’s $40 to drive with parking.

it's ironic bc I just used the first rsn to make a 4 hr drive instead of taking Amtrak. Amtrak would be nice, but I'd need a car rental in the city
