@missclairebenjamin: How to tell your manager their feedback is unhelpful and not look defensive…😉 Constructive feedback can be great but when a manager gives you unconstructive feedback (vague, non-specific, generalised) it is often really unhelpful and frustrating. It’s easy to become defensive. Try to keep calm and let them know that you’re keen to act on their feedback but need specific examples in order to know where the potential opportunities for improvement are.
